Komodo National Park Entrance Fees 2026: Complete Cost Guide
Komodo NP fees 2026 — the exact numbers.
Park fees doubled in 2024, partly reverted in 2025. Here’s what you’ll actually pay this year, line by line. (See Komodo National Park (UNESCO) for context.)

The travel industry pushed back. The fee was paused, partially reverted, and now sits at a structure most international visitors find reasonable. Here are the exact 2026 numbers.

Per-boat / per-charter fees
Anchor fee (charter boats): IDR 250,000 / day = ~$15.50 / day, paid by the boat operator and usually included in your package price.
Mooring fees at specific sites (Manta Point, Pink Beach): IDR 150,000 / boat / visit = ~$9.30. Charter operator pays.
What this works out to per traveler
For a typical 4-day phinisi voyage with 1 dragon trek + 2 snorkel days + 1 dive day, expect approximately:
Park fees: $15.50 × 4 days = $62
Wildlife observation: $12.40 (Rinca trek) = $12
Snorkeling permit: $3.10 × 2 = $6
Trekking guide: $6.20 × 2 (Komodo + Rinca) = $12
Diving permits (if you dive): $3.10 × 4 dives = $12
Total per person: ~$104
Most quality phinisi operators (including ours) include all park fees in the package price. If you see a quote that says “park fees additional” — ask for the all-in number to compare apples to apples.
2026 announced changes (none yet)
The Ministry of Environment announced in November 2025 that Komodo NP fees would remain at current levels through 2026. There are discussions of a “premium experience” surcharge ($75-$150) for guided private dragon walks at sites less visited — this is currently optional. We will update this page as the situation evolves.
All fees included in our packages
Our 4-day, 5-day, and 7-day Komodo packages quote a single all-in price with all park fees, transfers, food, and accommodation.
