When is the best time to visit Labuan Bajo and Komodo?
The dry season runs April to October and the wet season November to March; the park is open year-round. July and August are the busiest and priciest. April to June and September to October give the best balance of dry weather, thinner crowds, and lower prices. December through February brings the heaviest rain and the roughest crossings.
What does a Komodo trip cost once every fee is counted?
Government fees and commercial pricing behave differently and are worth separating. Foreign visitors should expect to pay around USD 40–50 per person per visit for the park fee. Boat pricing is not fixed: it moves with vessel class, cabin type, trip length, and group size.
